Arrow McLaren driver Christian Lundgaard made a long-awaited return to Victory Lane, winning the 2026 Indy Grand Prix at the Indianapolis Road Course. It marked Lundgaard’s second career victory and his first in nearly three years.

The sixth round of the 2026 IndyCar season concluded with Lundgaard leading the field. David Malukas, still chasing his maiden win, finished second for the third time in his career, crossing the line 4.6 seconds behind. Graham Rahal completed the podium in third, 7.9 seconds adrift. Josef Newgarden took fourth, while pole-sitter Alex Palou rounded out the top five.
Mick Schumacher was just laps away from a career-best 11th-place finish, but contact with Santino Ferrucci earned him a drive-through penalty, dropping him to 20th. Dennis Hauger led the rookie class in eighth, also a career best.

The next race on the schedule is the 110th running of the Indianapolis 500.
