Draymond Green has pushed back against the notion that LeBron James receives the harshest treatment from NBA referees, insisting that Stephen Curry actually gets a worse whistle.
Green was responding to comments from former player JJ Redick, who recently stated that James has “the worst whistle” among all elite players he has observed.
“JJ Redick says LeBron has the worst whistle of any star player he’s ever seen. Has he ever watched Steph Curry play?” Green remarked.
The Golden State Warriors veteran went on to question how officials handle Curry, given his superstar status.
“Is Steph Curry considered a star player? Got nothing but love for Bron, but if Steph Curry is a star player – which I think he is – no one gets a worse whistle than Steph Curry.”
